To all the chocolate lovers out there who simply do not want to give up chocolate treats, but still want something that will taste good without the guilt factor. It is a quick and easy recipe that any die hard chocolate fan will reach for over and over again.

Ingredients

  • 210g butter (not the spreadable types)
  • 305g caster sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 75g cocoa powder
  • 90g coconut flour
  • 10g baking powder
  • 10g protein powder (I use @theorganicproteinco )
  • And 100g cacao nibs or plain chocolate chips
  • Peanut butter (optional)

To make the brownies

  1. Mix dry ingredients into the egg and butter until smooth
  2. Pour into a baking tray
  3. Top with peanut butter (optional) I used @pbfit.uk
  4. Bake at 170 degrees for 30 minutes
  5. Let cool, cut and top with @wonderfulpistachiosuk

Instead of baking soda and coconut flour, you can use self raising flour. I just prefer the taste of coconut flour in chocolate baking, its sweeter so reduces the need for additional sugar, and creates a fluffier texture.
